At the beginning of every year you should verify your salary step and lane.
For several years we had alphabetical steps, i.e., step H. Under the Teachers’ Contract for 2020-2023 this alphabetical step will be converted to a numerical step. This conversion occurred in the 2019-2020 school year. Your education scale has remained the same. See the conversion chart here. So, for example: If in the 2019-2020 school year you started in Step H, Masters+15, In this same year you would be Step 4, M+15. If you look at this chart, you will see that the salaries are comparable. For the 2020-2021 school year determine what your new numerical step and educational step should be and compare that with what is on file for you.
